Pumpkins and Fall

We've officially made our first trip to PaPa's Pumpkin Patch! Landon loved the animals, can't wait to take this little man to the zoo. Other than that he's just been busy being a big boy. Getting good at crawling around, we choose to believe that he can say hi, dada, daddy, mama, and yes. Enjoying the beautiful fall weather!

 Landon's Birthday October 4th... I cannot believe it has been a whole year... We had a nice little supper at home followed by a birthday twinkie!! ha ha! we realize we didn't have dessert for our birthday boy so Matt hit up the food market. The photos tell the story, he is not a big fan of food... :)

Hello Again!

Its been a while, either I'm a bad mom or just not much has happened... i.e. lack of picture history :)  Within the last week Landon has started crawling... just a little bit ,a few feet here and there, not dragging himself or army crawling but hands and knees like a big boy! :) Although I know in no time at all he'll be all over the place and my house will be far more picked up than it usually is :) HA! Still eating little nibbles although tonight he discovered drinking from a cup/a straw that I've picked up with my finger on the end and put in his mouth... does that even make sense? You know what I'm talking about right? Anyway he LOVES water, couldn't get enough! So we were happy about that :) He is mastering waving and will occasionally throw out a "Hi!" so cute. He loves reading books and I caught him this morning reading one all by himself. So cute in his jammies sitting on the floor. Hopefully I will have an update sooner rather than later. His birthday party is coming up so hopefully I can get a post about that out :)

So there is not much new, Landon continues to eat little bites occasionally and usually when we can sneak one in :) I don't have many new pictures but there is this....

Peas, Cheese and Cucumbers

Sorry for the lapse in time between updates... *ahem, Kris*...... :)

We've been busy with the same old fun. Landon has done everything but crawl, he is so close! But he has also discovered walking with someone holding his hands, he has decided this is a far preferable method of locomotion... Our little cruiser also has a walker now, he has recently figured out how to go and is chasing the cats and getting into anything he can reach. Its so cute to watch him go and have him come to us.

Today we've had an eating breakthrough of sorts. We had a classic after church lunch at D'Angelos. Expecting a fit and vomiting from Landon I attempted to feed him some tid-bits from my salad. Even though there was grimacing (interpreted by others as distaste for the tid-bit), there was no gagging or vomiting!! Maybe a slight spit up but I'm not counting it. He liked cheese, cucumbers and peas! I was over-joyed with mommy proudness. It was the first time he had opened his mouth and let me put bites in. It was so much fun that Matt was sure I'd never finish my own meal :)  Enjoy the latest pictures :)
