Miss Us?? We're Back!! :)

Oh boy has it ever been a long time since I've posted! Okay we didn't go anywhere, well, first a little procrastination, then a computer malfunction, followed by me trying to fix it, followed by 3-4 weeks back and fourth from the computer doctor, then a week for me to get it back on the internet... plus a few days for me to find the time... :) Ta Da!! Here we go! I'm going to try to get it in order, Landon looks like he has his doubts...

 5 Months Old!

Then we apparently had a lack of picture taking, a few days before he turned 6 months we tried some rice cereal, he was not a big fan, still isn't into baby food. I suppose he'll eat when he's ready, stop worrying about it mom (me)... :)

He found his first Easter egg, he didn't even let a missing shoe hold him back!

We fit into our Santo Domingo outfit brought back from the Dominican Republic by our friend Donna! Thanks Donna, perfect summer duds!

February

February was filled with lots of love! har har I know... Not much new, which we count as good, he's busy getting chubby and learning all sorts of new noises.  His 4 month well child check went great, Dr. Jantz said that if he didn't know better we could have passed him off as a normal full term 4 month old. We were happy to hear that. We made another trip to Oklahoma to see some cows but more importantly visit Great Grandma and Grandpa Wahl. Oh! and we've got him potty trained... okay not really :)

A few new tricks

Not a whole lot has changed, last week Landon weighed 14lb 3.2 ounces, he is 16 weeks old already!! :) We tried his doorway jumper, he mostly just dangles there but he was entertained enough to not fuss about being in there :) He is just starting to reach for/bat at things, looking forward to him playing with all of his toys. He is also doing really good holding up his head during tummy time, which makes the mirror fun!! Overall he is a happy little boy, he is all smiles first thing in the morning which is always fun, although Matt and I can't figure out how we produced such a morning person.....

Ahh the great outdoors...

Snuggled with grandma downstairs it was time to go, so she brought the whole snuggle upstairs and to the kitchen, he was definitely out! *disclaimer* we don't make a habit of counter-top naps :)

Christmas and other things

We had a busy and fun Christmas, celebrating together our little family for the first time :) Uncle Austin came to visit from the Seattle area, and we made our first out of state trip to Oklahoma to visit great grandparents and celebrate Christmas. Landon is busy smiling and becoming more active, we've successfully fought off out first cold,  and he's weighing in at 13lbs now and has been to the babysitters for the first time. Which means my maternity leave is officially over :( So hard, but I'm anxious to get into a new routine with our little family. Enjoy the photo review of the past few weeks :)
